ur mission is to provide a quality childcare experience that helps your child develop physically, socially, and emotionally.

OUR TEACHERS

Fairmount Cooperative Preschool employs experienced and professional educators. The teachers guide their class through age-appropriate 'learning through play' curriculums. Together they will explore the pre-school world around them through independent and cooperative play, art, science, story-time and field trips. Our nurturing staff provides a healthy and safe environment for all students.

All of the teachers at the Fairmount Cooperative Preschool are certified in First Aid, CPR and detecting child abuse and communicable diseases. Each year the teachers attend the annual meeting of the Ohio Association of the Education of Young Children for continuing professional development sessions. The administrator evaluates the teachers at least once a year in the classroom and parents fill out detailed, written evaluations in January. Feedback between the parents and teachers is both ongoing and encouraged and is the backbone of the school. The small classroom size and close-knit family community offered at FCP make a child's first school experience positive and affirming.
